COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- A water main break in Colorado Springs caused traffic to be diverted Wednesday morning.
According to Colorado Springs Utilities, the water main break happened Wednesday morning near the intersection of Union and Constitution.
Officials are asking for motorists to avoid the area if possible. Southbound Union between La Salle and Constitution was closed but has since reopened.
Repairs on the break are expected to be completed within the next day, officials said.
Another water main break in Southwest Colorado Springs has left about 30 residents without water.
That break happened just off the intersection of Florence and Cheyenne. No time table was given for those repairs.
