DENVER, COLO. -- A soldier from Colorado is one of the latest casualties from the war in Afghanistan.

The Department of Defense said 21-year-old Spc. Kedith L. Jacobs of Denver, and 22-year-old Pfc. Leroy Deronde III of New Jersey, were killed on May 27th when their unit was attacked by enemy forces.

The soldiers were stationed at Fort Bliss, Texas.
