COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- A woman who claimed she was sexually assaulted by two men after being at a bar was able to text her husband during the incident.

According to Colorado Springs Police officers, the woman's husband got a text message from her around 2:35 a.m. Tuesday saying she was being "held against her will" at a the Green Village Park in the 3500 block of North Carefree Circle.

The husband called officers, who checked the park but couldn't find anyone.

While officers were at the park, the woman returned home to their apartment in the same block and told her husband about the assault. She said she was sexually assaulted by two men who offered her a ride home from a bar across the street from their apartment.

Officers said they don't have any other information but are continuing the investigation.
