COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- The Pueblo Police Department is asking for help finding the man who robbed a convenience store back in January.
According to police, the Konvenience Corner Store, located in the 1700 block of Constitution, was robbed at about 9:30 p.m. on Jan. 15.
That’s when, according to what the store clerk told police, the suspect entered the store, walked behind the counter and demanded money. After the clerk could not open the register, police said the man began to bang on it to get it open.
The suspect then, police said, told the clerk to open the register because he had a gun. He then stuck his hand into his coat where a bulge could be seen, police said.
Police said the suspect took eight cartons of Marlboro 72s menthol before running away.
The suspect is described as a white man in his late 30s to early 40s. He was five-foot-six with light-colored bloodshot eyes and a medium build. He was seen wearing a dark grey or black puffy coat with the hood up, blue jeans, light brown shoes, black and grey gloves and a black ski mask.
