EL PASO COUNTY, COLO. -- The El Paso County Sheriff's Office is investigating a homicide from early Wednesday morning.
Authorities received a 911 call at about 7:20 a.m., Wednesday on the report of a burglary at a home in the 100 block of Judson Street, near Fontaine and Grinnell. Police said they searched the home and found 47-year-old Miguel Barajas deceased.
Barajas was the father of the woman who called 911, police said.
Currently, detectives are working to determine who was involved in Barajas' death and the theft of property from the home. Any information on this case, including residents remembering suspicious vehicles or people in the area, can be reported to 390-5555.
