FREMONT COUNTY, COLO. -- Fremont County Sheriff's deputies are holding two teenagers in custody in connection with a theft at a vacant house early Monday morning.

According to deputies, 19-year-old Dustin Potter, 19-year-old Victor Ruschena and a 16-year-old girl were walking along South 4th Street when Canon City Police officers stopped them.

After questioning and releasing them, officers found bolt cutters and boxes of stolen items that had come from a nearby vacant house, where a padlock had been cut off.

Detectives linked the crime to the two boys and arrested them. They each face a $3,000 bond.

The girl was not charged.
