Three caught with stolen car, electronics

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs Police officers arrested three people allegedly responsible for stealing a car and several electronic items, as well as drug charges.

Around 2:05 a.m. Wednesday, officers pulled over a suburban in the 700 block of North Academy Boulevard. The car had been reported stolen Dec. 27.

Officers arrested 20-year-old Tiffany Pappadakas, 27-year-old Andreas Green and 30-year-old Nickalas Jensen for theft by receiving, attempting to influence a public official and narcotics-related charges.

Officers also found several electronic items in the back of the suburban, as well as other evidence that suggests the three may have been stealing either mail or items from other cars.

The investigation is ongoing.
