COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs police are searching for the man who is accused of trying to pull a woman into his car Wednesday evening.
At about 7:35 p.m., police said a woman reported that she was walking home near 23rd Street and Uintah Street, near Thorndale Park, when a man got out of his car and tried to pull her into it.
Fortunately, the woman was able to break away from him and the suspect drove off.
The man was driving an older SUV with Wyoming tags, police said. Primer or rust may be over the back left wheel.
Authorities described the suspect as a white man, about six feet tall with a medium to husky build. He was wearing a grey t-shirt and had dirty white running shoes.
