COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- The search is on for the suspects involved in an early morning carjacking.

Just after midnight Saturday, officers were called to the area of Market Street and Wheeler Avenue near the Bear Creek Dog Park.

The victim told police he received a phone call from an acquaintance asking for a ride, and added when he went to drop off the man at his location, he and another suspect pointed guns at him, beat him and then pulled him out of his car

The men left in a 2002 silver Grand Prix, the victim's car, and a black pickup truck with a tookbox in the bed.

Anyone with information on the carjacking or suspects is asked to call police at 444-7000 or Crime Stoppers at 634-STOP.
