COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs Police are working to identify the driver of a van that was involved in a rollover crash early Saturday morning.

It happened just after midnight at the intersection of N. Carefree Circle and Oro Blanco Drive.

Police said the van was making a left turn from Carefree to Oro Blanco when it was broadsided by an oncoming car, which caused the van to roll onto its side.

They said the driver and passenger in the van ran from the accident scene.

The passenger was found a short time later in a nearby townhouse, after officers followed a trail of blood drops.

That person is exptected to be ok.

The driver meanwhile has not been located.

It is unknown if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash.
