Police cruiser crashes into business

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Authorities are investigating after a police cruiser jumped a curb and crashed into a business in Colorado Springs.

The vehicle crashed into a garden center called "The Grow Store" on West Colorado Avenue just before 6:30 a.M. Saturday.

The officer was uninjured.

The owner of the store was allegedly told by police that the officer may have fallen asleep

Police are still conducting an investigation into what caused the crash
