COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- The El Paso County Sheriff's Office arrested a man who it says shot his son by mistake.

Glenn DeCarlo was charged with Attempted First Degree Murder and First Degree Assault.

It was just after 1 a.m., Wednesday when police responded to a disturbance call in the 8700 block of Shipman Lane. Police said they arrived to find 22-year-old Anthony DeCarlo shot twice.

Anthony DeCarlo was transported to the hospital with what was believed to be non-life threatening injuries.

According to police, Glenn DeCarlo, Anthony's father, and Anthony had a falling out with 24-year-old Matthew Fancher. Police said Fancher was a mutual friend and had been living at the home.

Fancher, police said, had been told to move out. As Fancher returned home to pick up his things, police said Glenn fired multiple rounds at him but struck Anthony by 'mistake.'

Glenn's bond was set at $50,000.
