COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- A Colorado Springs woman was arrested and charged with assault after a police investigation found she stabbed a man with a kitchen knife.
The victim, according to police, was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police said.
Police were called to the 1500 block of East Buena Vista Street at about 11 p.m., Monday on a domestic disturbance call. They arrived to find a man had been stabbed several times.
During a verbal argument, police said 52-year-old Bobbie Johnson got a large knife from the kitchen and stabbed the man while he was sitting on the couch.
Johnson was charged with Second Degree Assault.
