PUEBLO, Colo.--Pueblo police have released the name of the suspect in an officer-involved shooting that happened on Christmas Day.

Authorities say the shooting was in response to 40-year-old Richard Licon forcing his way into a home and pointing a gun at the people inside.

Officers found Licon hiding on a porch behind a large bush, after he ran out the back of the property.

Licon pointed a gun at one of the officers, and one of the officers fired a shot at Licon.

Both officers are on administrative leave, according to standard procedure.
