COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Investigators are seaching for a link between a car crash, a carjacking and a man who showed up at Memorial Hospital with a gunshot wound.
Police received reports of shots fired around 5:30 Thursday night.
Officers responded to the scene, on Chelton Road and Mallard Drive, where they found a car that had crashed.
The area was blocked off as authorities investigated.
Police believe a nearby carjacking was related to the crash and the shooting.
