12-year-old hit by stray bullet

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs police are investigating a random shooting that left a 12-year-old wounded in the leg.

Police responding to Airport and Murray Blvd. Friday night for reports of shots fired.  When officers arrived they found the boy inside his home, they also found a number of bullet holes at the residence located at 100 block of S. Murray Blvd..

The boy is expected to make a full recovery.

Police have  found no link between the boy and the shooter.
