Missing Colorado Springs boy would be 27 today

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- A Colorado Springs boy who went missing at just 7 months old and hasn't been seen since would be 27 Wednesday, and his parents still aren't giving up hope.

Christopher Abeyta was taken from his crib on July 15, 1986. His parents say someone snuck into their home between midnight and 6 a.m. while they were sleeping and took the baby, who was sleeping just a few feet away.

For 25 years, the Abeytas have been doing everything from hiring investigators to public posting and outcries for help.

Investigators have followed up on several leads, but nothing has ever panned out.

The family started a Facebook page for Christopher just Wednesday.
