COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs Police have arrested a man accused of seriously injuring his girlfriend and her nine-month-old.

Authorities said they found the woman and infant with serious, but non-life threatening injuries around 10:00 Saturday night.

They said the woman told them 29-year-old Mark Burch forced her and her baby out of his truck and into a dirt parking lot on N. Carefree Drive during an argument.

Burch is accused of choking the woman until she was unconscious.

The investigation is ongoing.
