ASPEN, COLO. (AP) -- Pitkin County is considering forcing more than 150 residents to change their addresses to help emergency responders.

That isn't sitting well with residents who fear they won't get their letters.

The Aspen Daily News reports Pitkin County commissioners on Wednesday will consider the new address ordinance after a committee identified 150 driveways that officials believe should be named or renamed to better assist police, fire and ambulance response.

A public hearing is set for Oct. 24.
