COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- A woman who threatened to jump off the Bijou Street bridge onto I-25 in Colorado Springs caused a huge traffic backup Monday afternoon.

Colorado Springs Police officers said the right two lanes of northbound I-25 were closed for about 20 minutes while officers and medical personnel worked to talk the woman down around 2:45 p.m.

The woman did not jump, and all lanes of I-25 have reopened.
