COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. --

When the doors open at a political rally it's every person for themself.

The Colorado Springs Mitt Romney, Paul Ryan supporters didn't run but they came to the Paul Ryan rally one hour before it even started.

When asked if Republican supporter, Cecilia Greenhalgh was excited about her front row spot she said, "Well yeah unless people push me away, then I might get uptight."

And while some fans are fighting for a signature and that front row seat others are turning Wednesday's campaign event into a learning lesson.

Lewis Decarolis and his brother are at the rally to watch politics in action.

Lewis is too young to vote and a bit to young to get all the details but the 12-year-old understands the November election is a big deal.

"[Paul] Ryan is running for vice president of the United States for Mitt Romney," Decarolis said.

A full day of work couldn't keep Dr. Melody Suelto from hearing her pick for vice president speak.

"It's more than Paul Ryan, it's about our country, that's what we're fighting for," Melody Suelto, supporter said.

There are only 41 days until the election so Paul Ryan is fighting for every vote possible and Wednesday's group of supporters hopes they can help the Romney ticket carry Colorado.
