COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Two women were allegedly assaulted at the hands of an active duty Army Sergeant Saturday.Colorado Springs Police say a woman and her dog were attacked early Saturday morning by a man who broke into their home.
The 25 year-old female called police frantically saying there were loud noises and then a male in her bedroom.
Police determined a male broke in, broke down her bedroom door and attacked both she and her dog.
The man remained in the home after she ran out, destroying a lot of her belongings and furniture.
As police detained the man, the wife of the suspect came to police with details of his assault on her Friday night following an argument and night out partying.
Both women walked away with minor injuries.
The suspect is in custody for burglary and domestic-related assault.
