CANON CITY, COLO. -- A Canon City man is accused of stabbing another in the chest and leg following an argument in an alley.
Canon City Police officers were called to the 600 block of Main Street Saturday night and found 20-25 people in an alley surrounding a 22-year-old man who had been stabbed in the leg and chest.
Officers in Greeley, Colo. arrested 22-year-old Matthew Hansen Sunday and said Hansen is accused of stabbing the man following an argument that involved a woman.
Hansen and the woman had gone to the alley from a local bar, and the victim went with the girl because he didn't want her to go alone. The two men then began arguing, which led to the stabbing.
Hansen will face first degree assault charges.
