COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs Police officers are looking for three men accused of breaking into an SUV, then leading them on a chase in a stolen Jeep.

Officers said three men were reported to have been trying to break into an SUV at the Quality Inn on Garden of the Gods Road around 2:50 a.m. Sunday. When they arrived, then men got into a Jeep and drove away. Officers tried to pull them over, but they didn't stop.

The chase went down I-25, and officers stopped chasing when the Jeep went east on the Martin Luther King Jr. bypass.

About 10 minutes later, officers found the Jeep when it crashed in the 4400 block of Wordsworth Circle North.

All three men ran from the Jeep and are still on the run. Officers returned the Jeep to its owner.
