Small fire burns on Mount Herman

EL PASO COUNTY, COLO. -- Fire crews are building containment lines around a small wildfire west of Monument.

The Mount Herman Fire started off Mount Herman Road near Red Rocks Drive and grew to about half of an acre.

No structures were threatened and firefighters are quickly working to gain control of the fire.

Smoke is visible from I-25, but El Paso County Sheriff's deputies haven't released any other information.
