Man attacked, wallet stolen in the Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs Police officers are looking for two men who attacked a third man and stole his wallet, leaving him with serious injuries.

According to officers, the victim was assaulted on East Boulder Street near Sunset Road. He told officers two men attacked him, took the wallet and fled in an early 2000s model white Ford F-150 Crew Cab truck. It was slightly lowered and had a Tonneau-type cover over the bed.

One of the attackers was a black man, about 6'5" and weighs about 250-260 pounds. The other attacker is a 5'10" black man who weighs 130-140 pounds with long black hair.

The victim had serious injuries but is expected to survive.
