COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- A driver who was street racing on Powers Boulevard is in the hospital after running a red light at Milton Proby Parkway and hitting another car that was going east toward the Colorado Springs Airport.
The crash happened around 9:27 p.m. Monday and sent both drivers to the hospital.
Colorado Springs Police officers said both drivers' injuries are unknown.
The crash closed part of the intersection, which is the only way passengers can get to the airport, for the rest of the night.
No other information was immediately available.
