COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Two men are on the run after stealing a woman's purse and hitting her in the face Wednesday afternoon.

According to Colorado Springs Police officers, the woman was driving in the 3700 block of Lancashire Street around 12:34 p.m. looking for a friend's house when the two men blocked her car with theirs.

The men came up to her car and demanded their property back, but the woman said she didn't know what they were talking about. One man then reached into the car and grabbed her purse from the front seat while the other man hit her in the face with his fist, knocking out her tooth.

The men then got back into their car and drove away.

Officers said the car is a black two-door Mitsubishi, possibly an Eclipse, with dark tinted windows and a white license plate.

One of the men is either Black or Asian, about 25 years old and is 5'8" with a thin build. He wore a white sleeveless t-shirt, baggy pants and a white bandana. The other is a 5'10" Black man with a muscular build who wore a white sleeveless t-shirt, baggy pants and a black bandana.

Anyone with information should call police at (719) 444-7000.
