AURORA, Colo. (AP) -- Fire investigators say a deadly fire at an apartment building complex in Aurora was intentionally set.

Firefighters say the blaze Monday night killed two people on the fourth floor and sent 15 people to hospitals. Some people escaped the flames by jumping from windows.

The Aurora Fire Department didn't say Friday who might have started the fire or how. They say their investigation is continuing.

On Monday, fire officials said they were looking into reports that a person with a gas can was seen at the building.

Aurora police say detectives have interviewed someone whom neighbors speculated might have been involved with the fire, but there wasn't enough probable cause to make an arrest.
