CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) -- The Wyoming Highway Patrol says it appears a motorcyclist was struck from behind by an unknown vehicle before he ended up dead along Interstate 25 south of Cheyenne.
Authorities say a passerby found the crash scene Friday morning along the northbound lanes, about a half-mile north of the Colorado-Wyoming state line.
Investigators say the body of 61-year-old Jose Blea of Pueblo, Colo., was found down an embankment along the highway and his wrecked motorcycle was found nearby. He had not been wearing a helmet.
The Highway Patrol believes he was struck late Thursday night or early Friday morning and is trying to locate the hit-and-run driver.
