AIR FORCE ACADEMY, COLO. (AP) -- The Air Force Academy is conducting an exercise designed to test its ability to work with local hospitals and civil authorities to contain a disease.

The drill is taking place Wednesday and Thursday on the campus outside Colorado Springs.

Memorial Health System hospitals and the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment will participate, but academy officials say nearby residents aren't likely to see any activity outside the campus.
