Man stabbed in motel room, police searching for suspect

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs Police spent Saturday morning looking for a suspect following a stabbing.

It happened around 10:45 a.m. at motel located on S. Nevada Avenue near I-25.

Police said the 25-year-old victim was sitting in a room when the suspect entered and began stabbing him in the chest, stomach, hand and leg.

They said the victim is expected to be ok.

As for the suspect, he is described as black, 25-years-old, 150 pounds with black hair, brown eyes, and a scar on his forehead.

He was last seen wearing a blue t-shirt and sweatpants. 

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 444-7000 or Crimestoppers at 634-STOP.
