DENVER (AP) -- Five people wounded in the Colorado movie theater shooting remain in critical condition.

University of Colorado Hospital said Thursday it has four patients in critical condition, and the Medical Center of Aurora said it has one.

Twelve people were killed and 58 were injured in the July 20 shooting. As many as 11 were in critical condition at one point.

Parker Adventist Hospital treated three victims and, hospital officials said Thursday they would forgive any parts of their medical bills that weren't covered by insurance.

University Hospital says it's working with the injured and their insurance companies but had no specifics.

Three other hospitals have said they will limit or completely wipe out the medical bills of people injured in the shooting.
