Overnight stabbing in Old Colorado City

Police are trying to piece together what led to an overnight stabbing in Old Colorado City.

Colorado Springs Police were called shortly before 2:00 this morning to West Colorado Avenue and 22nd Street on a report that a stabbing victim had been found in the area. The man was transported with multiple apparent stab wounds and is in critical condition.

Officers blocked off 21st Street from Colorado Avenue south to Sheldon Avenue until about 9:00 while they investigated.
