EL PASO COUNTY, COLO. (AP) -- A bomb squad from the El Paso County Sheriff's Office has turned over military ordnance to Fort Carson after a jogger discovered it along a public roadway.

The bomb squad was unable to identify the object and a nearby home was evacuated.

Crews called in a Fort Carson bomb squad for help, and the ordnance was taken back to the military base. Deputies had no further information on the incident, or whether it posed any danger.
