COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- A man accused of strangling and sexually assaulting his wife also attacked their 6-year-old son, according to Colorado Springs Police officers.
Officers are looking for 27-year-old Felipe Valadez-Lopez, who ran away before they could get to the home in the 3800 block of Lakehurst Drive Tuesday.
Lopez's wife told officers he strangled her, threatened her with a gun and sexually assaulted her Tuesday, all in front of their two children. She told officers their 6-year-old was attacked by Lopez, and their 3-year-old was in the room.
The woman was treated for her injuries at a hospital.
Officers said Lopez is wanted for sexual assault, felony menacing and child abuse. Anyone who knows where Lopez is should call police at (719) 444-7000.
