House alarm helps catch three burglars

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Police officers are crediting a house alarm for helping them get to the scene of a burglary quickly and arrest three suspects.

Colorado Springs Police officers arrested Anthony Diccio, Brian Greenley and a minor Monday morning after a woman set off her house alarm when they broke in through a back window.

After activating her alarm, she ran from the house in the 3800 block of Soft Breeze Way. Shortly afterwards, officers arrived, set up a perimeter and caught the burglars jumping fences.

All three were caught and identified by the homeowner. Officers said they also found a stolen car near the house.
