FORT COLLINS, COLO. (AP) -- A 227-acre wildfire in northern Colorado is fully contained.

Larimer County sheriff's officials say rain Wednesday night, higher humidity and cooler weather helped firefighters contain the Stuart Hole fire with Thursday, along with a smaller fire that broke out nearby. It has cost an estimated $324,000 to fight the Stuart Hole fire.

The lightning-sparked Stuart Hole fire damaged two outbuildings and prompted evacuations of 13 homes after it started Monday.

Residents returned home Tuesday. The fire is about 40 miles northwest of Fort Collins and north of where a camp stove ignited a wildfire last month. That earlier fire is smoldering but contained.

In southern Colorado, where a fire on nearly 10 square miles near Pagosa Springs is about 30 percent contained, it is still dry.

No structures are threatened.
