Probation officer arrested for sexual assault

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs Police officers and Pueblo County Sheriff's deputies teamed up to arrest a probation officer for alleged sexual assault.

According to officers, a woman came to them in October 2011 saying she had been in a sexual relationship with her probation officer, Guy Cruz, which she said she didn't consent to.

After months of investigation, officers got an arrest warrant for Cruz.

Pueblo deputies arrested Cruz, who is no longer in law enforcement, around 3 p.m. Tuesday.
