FORT CARSON, Colo. (AP) -- A military judge is holding a hearing for a Fort Carson soldier charged with murder in the November death of his 2-year-old nephew.
The hearing is scheduled Tuesday for Pfc. Jason A. Price. It will help determine whether Price should face a court-martial.
Charging documents indicate the toddler suffered blunt force trauma to the head at Fort Carson on Nov. 5. The child's name hasn't been released.
Price is charged with premeditated murder. If convicted, he faces a maximum sentence of life in prison without parole and a dishonorable discharge.
