COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Two people are recovering Friday morning after being stabbed Thursday night while trying to break up a domestic disturbance.
According to Colorado Springs Police officers, a man and a woman were involved in a disturbance in the El Vecino Apartments in the 2700 block of Arlington Drive around 10:48 p.m. when two witnesses got involved.
The man stabbed both witnesses, sending them to the hospital with serious injuries.
Officers did not elaborate on what exactly happened between the man and woman or why the witnesses jumped in. They have not made any arrests.
