Police on scene of shooting, 1 taken to hospital

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs Police are on the scene of a shooting at the Mountain Country Estates apartment complex near the intersection of Academy and Pikes Peak.

The 911 call came in around 9:15 p.m.

Officers said they were first told the shooting happened during a home invasion, but now it appears it was the result of a fight.

They said one man was taken to the hospital with a possible gunshot wound to the head.

CSPD said one suspect is in custody.

FOX21 has a crew at the scene.
