COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs Police officers arrested a man Sunday morning who threatened his sister and mother with a pair of scissors and tried to rob them.
According to 22-year-old Tyhimba Anderson's sister, Anderson threatened to kill her, then used a pair of scissors to threaten her mother, trying to rob her.
Officers got the sister's 911 call and showed up at the home in the 8000 block of Turkey Run Drive around 11:30 a.m., prompting Anderson to run out the back door.
Officers used a K-9 to help find Anderson, who was hiding behind some bushes nearby.
Anderson was taken to the hospital with injuries, then arrested for robbery, false imprisonment and menacing.
