DENVER (AP) -- A snowstorm that brought up a foot of snow to some areas of the Colorado mountains is winding down.
The National Weather Service said early Monday a winter storm warning remains in effect and the storm could bring another four inches of snow.
Wintry weather lingered across parts of Colorado Sunday prompting officials to temporarily close U.S. 6 at Loveland Pass near the Continental Divide west of Denver. Snow prompted officials to postpone a minor league baseball game in Colorado Springs.
