FORT CARSON, COLO. -- A soldier stationed at Fort Carson has been killed in Afghanistan.
The Department of Defense said Thursday 26-year-old Staff Sgt. Christopher Brown of Columbus, Ohio, died April 3.
Brown was on his third deployment since joining the Army in 2003. He had been stationed at Fort Carson since 2005.
The Defense Department says Brown died of wounds from a roadside bomb.
