COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs Police officers are investigating an incident involving a home invasion and assault early Monday morning.
Officers said three victims were assaulted after waking up to several people breaking into their home in the 2800 block of Ridgeglen Court in the city around 3:42 a.m.
Earlier in the night, the suspects and victims were at a party together when a disturbance erupted. The victims said they left the party and came home.
During the break-in, the suspects stole several items from the home and fled in a white sedan before officers arrived.
Officers have not released any information about the victims or suspects, nor did they give any details about the party from earlier in the night. The victims have non life-threatening injuries.
