COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- A brazen thief entered a local jewelry store with a gun and took off with precious gems and cash.
Colorado Springs Police officers arrived at David Moretti Jewelry in the 5700 block of Constitution late Thursday night for the robbery call.
They said that a man armed with a gun entered the store demanding merchandise.
He fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of jewelry and cash.
The suspect has been described as a Hispanic man in his late 20's to early 30's.
He's about 5'9'' tall with a medium build and short dark hair and fled in a late 90's black Lexus SC 400.
The vehicle has tinted windows and tinted head light covers.
