Soldier arrested in motorcycle club murder

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs Police officers have arrested a second man in connection with a murder outside the Sin City Disciples motorcycle club in the city March 2.

Fort Carson officials transferred custody of John Burrell to officers Wednesday. Officers will charge him with first degree murder.

Officers arrested and charged 30-year-old club member Christopher Mountjoy with murder Friday.

On March 2, 31-year-old Virgil Means and a driver were driving away from the club in the 600 block of West Vermijo Street when someone shot at the car. The bullet hit Means, and he died at the hospital.

Detectives said they are continuing to investigate the case.
