BOULDER, COLO. (AP) -- Two University of Colorado students are facing charges after witnesses told police the men beat a pigeon to death.
Witnesses told police they saw several pigeons being beaten with a broomstick on the balcony of an apartment. The men were charged with animal cruelty.
According to the Boulder Daily Camera, Matt Nabhan and David Hankin told authorities they had a pigeon infestation, and the apartment manager didn't take care of it.
