Latest 'sexually violent predator' in Pueblo

PUEBLO, COLO. -- Pueblo Police officers have released information about the newest sexually violent predator living in the city.

Officers said 62-year-old James Hobson is on parole and living in the 900 block of East 2nd Street in the city.

Hobson was in prison for attempting to sexually assault a boy and also has convictions for attempted sexual assault on a child, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, failure to register as a sex offender and escape.

Hobson is 5'11" and weighs 250 pounds with gray hair and blue eyes. He has scars on his stomach and back and also wears glasses.

He is one of 455 sex offenders registered in Pueblo.
